There’s something so special about fall sessions, and this Kirkland family photography shoot at Juanita Bay Park was no exception. The golden leaves, soft light, and crisp air created the perfect setting. This sweet family of three brought such a calm and joyful energy. Their toddler girl absolutely stole the show in her adorable pink dress. As she explored the trails, her curiosity made every moment feel natural and full of life.
For this session, I chose to shoot on film using Fuji 400H, which gave the images a soft, dreamy quality. Film forces you to slow down and be intentional. As a result, every frame truly matters. The tones turned out beautifully. The greens stayed true, while the pink of her dress gently popped against the fall colors. Because of this, the gallery feels both nostalgic and fresh. This approach to Kirkland family photography creates images that will never go out of style.

Throughout the session, we focused on movement and connection. The parents laughed, played, and simply enjoyed time with their daughter. Meanwhile, she twirled, picked up leaves, and ran down the path. These in-between moments are always my favorite. They tell the real story. In addition, Juanita Bay Park offers so many beautiful backdrops, which makes it ideal for relaxed and candid Kirkland family photography sessions.
Overall, this session perfectly captured what I love most about Kirkland family photography. It felt genuine, easy, and full of warmth. Fall continues to be one of the best seasons to document your family. The colors, textures, and light all come together effortlessly. If you’re dreaming of timeless, film-inspired photos, Juanita Bay Park is truly one of the best spots to make that happen.
