When Solly's mom reached out to me for her newborn photos she expressed hoe meaningful it would be to shoot at Alki Beach in Seattle since their West Seattle home is right across the street. I don't do a lot of  outdoor newborn photos but maybe I should. It was a perfect morning, empty beach, waves calmly rolling in lulling baby Solly to sleep. The sun warming mom and dad as they took in this amazing moment holding the little bundle of light they brought into this world. It was very serene and just a wonderful shoot. I used a mix of  Portra 160, Fuji 400h and Delta 3200 film for these newborn photos.
